Create or edit a goal

Use goals to keep track of your progress on achieving target revenue.

Create a goal

  1. Make sure that you have the System Administrator, System Customiser, Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing, or CEO-Business Manager security role or equivalent permissions.

a. Follow the steps in View your user profile.

b. Don’t have the correct permissions? Contact your system administrator.

  1. Go to Goals. (How do I get there?)
  2. Do one of the following:
  • If you are using the CRM application, choose New.
  • If you are using CRM for Outlook, in the Records tab, choose New.
  1. On the New Goal form, enter information or observe any noted restrictions or requirements as needed. Use the handy tooltips as a guide.
  2. Click or tap Save or Save and Close.

Edit a goal

  1. Make sure that you have the System Administrator, System Customizer, Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing, or CEO-Business Manager security role or equivalent permissions.

a. Follow the steps in View your user profile.

b. Don’t have the correct permissions? Contact your system administrator.

  1. Go to Goals. (How do I get there?)
  2. Do one of the following:
  • If you are using the CRM web application, choose Edit.
  • If you are using CRM for Outlook, in the Records group, choose Edit.
  1. Fill in your information. Use the handy tooltips as a guide.
  2. Choose Save and Close.
